Headquartered in the heart of the Salinas Valley with the cool waters of the Monterey Bay as our backdrop, Hitchcock Farms is a leading supplier of premium fresh produce.

Our Mission

In 1989, the Hitchcock and Panziera families had a vision to grow and pack the highest quality vegetables for the produce industry. This vision was built upon a longstanding family farming history in the Salinas Valley, dating back to the early 1880’s. Today, Hitchcock Farms has partnered with growers that carry that same vision and family heritage forward. Ron and Ed Panziera have maintained a rich farming history in the Salinas Valley. Meanwhile, brothers and growers, Robert and Larry Fleming as well as brother-in-law Roy Motter, have continued to build upon their family farming history down in the Imperial Valley of Southern California.

Our farms are seasonally located in the fertile Salinas Valley in the spring, summer and fall, then shift to the Imperial Valley of Southeastern California during the winter months.

Building upon these longstanding legacies, Hitchcock Farms has evolved into one of the leading growers and packers of fresh produce. Always striving to be on the cutting edge, Hitchcock Farms has created many firsts in the industry. In 1994, they were the first to introduce romaine hearts to the food service industry. In 2002, they introduced Iceberg Babies™, which became an instant hit. These industry firsts garnered a stamp of approval from chefs and consumers throughout the United States and Canada. Hitchcock Farms has also grown into one of the largest premium brussels sprouts growers/shippers in North America.

We owe our success to our hard-working grower partners and dedicated team of employees. With their contributions, Hitchcock Farms continues to be a leading supplier of the highest quality produce in the industry.
